This is basically a fan site, run by myself, Jamie Currie. I created the site in December 2003. I was browsing the web for information on the Brat Pack and there was a real lack of it and no decent sites on the subject so I decided to make one myself.
The name "Brat Pack" came from a 1985 cover story in New York magazine by David Blum (June 10, 1985, pp. 40-47). The term is a play on the Rat Pack.
In the Summer of 2004, VH1 contacted me about a program they were making on The Brat Pack. I gave them a lot of the information they needed. Prior to my site being online, there was always and still is a lot of debate about which actors were a definite part of The Brat Pack. VH1 based their Fabulous Life Of The Brat Pack show on the eight actors I featured on the site.
I redesinged the site in the Summer of 2006 to give it a more professional, cleaner look. We now feature more movies, more actors and a new and improved discussion forum.
